On September 24, 2020, letters of resignation were submitted by Mayor Celestino A. Zambrano and Alderwoman Kristina Zambrano effective October 2, 2020. The City of Gregory wants to thank Mayor Zambrano and Alderwoman Zambrano for their dedicated service to the City and the community of Gregory.

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING 2020-2021 PROPOSED BUDGET
There will be a Public Hearing on the Proposed Budget of the City of Gregory for Fiscal Year October 1, 2020 to September 30, 2021 on August 31, 2020 at 6:00 pm in the Council Chambers of City Hall located at 206 W. Fourth Street, Gregory, Texas.
This budget will raise more revenue from property taxes than last year’s budget by an amount of $33,662 or 5.61% increase from last year’s budget and of that $10,965 is tax revenue to be raised from New Property added to tax roll this year.
A copy of the proposed budget is on file in the Office of the City Secretary and may be inspected on weekdays between 8:00 am and 4:30 pm at Gregory City Hall. All interested citizens are invited to submit written or oral comments.

“County Judge David R. Krebs is recommending voluntary evacuation for those in low lying areas subject to flooding at this time. Additionally, all vehicle travel should be limited beginning at 6 a.m. Saturday morning until noon on Sunday due to Tropical Storm Force Winds.”
In Gregory, our areas most prone to flooding include the Colonia Mexicana Addition and Reynold Addition #1, west of US 181.

City of Gregory Implements COVID-19 Rules for Our Children’s Park
UPDATED: May 21, 2020 [GREGORY, TEXAS] The City of Gregory has implemented the following rules to Our Children’s’ Park:
- The playground equipment, pavilion, basketball courts and restrooms are off-limits to the public.
- The walking trail will remain open, but individuals utilizing the trail are asked to keep a distance of at least six (6) feet apart from one another.
- Group sizes must be limited to no more than ten (10) individuals while keeping the social distancing recommendation of six (6) feet apart.
- Curfew will be from 11:00 pm to 5:00 am daily.
These measures will remain in place until Monday, June 15, 2020, unless the order is extended or terminated earlier by San Patricio County Judge David Krebs. Additional COVID-19 information can be found at the County’s Emergency Management page: http://sanpatem.com
